Meet the Reaktorians

Lasse Koskela

Lasse Koskela, Coach

24.11.2008

“Reaktor was an obvious choice for me because I have thought for many years that Agile Methods are the best way to develop programs. When I joined Reaktor in 2005, it was one of the few companies in Finland with such expertise.

Reaktor has offered me several excellent opportunities for developing methods and skills that interest me – for instance, I have written a book about test-driven development using Agile Methods. The support I received from the company and my colleagues was a big help in this project. The book was published in autumn 2007.

Reaktor always aims to use the best technology in each particular case, which makes the work meaningful. And I really like working in a group where everyone is a top expert in their field.

For instance, if a new tool is released somewhere, at least one of us will be trying it out in no time. Working with this group, it is easy to stay up-to-date with current developments in the field.

It has been great to see how ideas that were once being discussed at Reaktor have now started to come through in our clients’ organisations all over the world. Previously, few projects utilised Agile, but now almost all Reaktor projects are carried out using Agile Methods.”
